Materials:
100gr of The Potty Knitter's Recycled Yarn
Size 6mm knitting needles
Sizes:
Small, Medium, Large.
Stitch patterns:
Rib = knit2, purl2
Garter stitch = knit every row
Moss stitch = knit1, purl1, alternating each row
Instructions:
Cast on 56, 64, 72 stitches.
Rib for 6 rows.
Garter stitch for 5 rows, ending with a right side or knit row.
Moss stitch for 21, 23, 25 rows, ending with a wrong side row.
Knit 4 rows of Garter stitch.
Form crown as follows:
Row 1: knit 5, 6, 7 stitches, knit 2 together, repeat to end.
Row 2: purl this and every other return row.
Row 3: knit 4, 5, 6 stitches, knit 2 together, repeat to end.
Row 5: knit 3, 4, 5 stitches, knit 2 together, repeat to end.
Continue to decrease in this way until there are 8 stitches left.
Cut yarn, leaving a tail of approx. 30cm.
Thread yarn tail into a wool needle and feed through the 8 remaining stitches.
Pull into a tight circle and sew up seam.
Diagonal Scarf
Materials:

Size 6mm knitting needles
Stitch pattern:
Garter stitch: knit every row.
Instructions:
Cast on 3 stitches,
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Knit 1, make 1, knit 1, make 1, knit 1.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4: Knit 1, make 1, knit to last stitch, make 1, knit 1.
Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have desired width of scarf on needles = 15-21 stitches,
finishing with an odd numbered row.
Next even numbered row: knit 1, make 1, knit to last 2 stitches, knit 2 stitches together.
Next odd numbered row: Knit.
Repeat these 2 rows until you reach desired length.
Next even numbered row: knit 1, make 1, knit to last 2 stitches, knit 2 stitches together.
Next odd numbered row: knit 2 together, knit to end.
Repeat last 2 rows until 3 stitches remain, cast off.
